Summary: I looked behind me, seeing the bright headlights of an eighteen wheeler slicing through the wind and rain that was sending shivers through my body. I really didn’t want to abide by the rules of the road, but being unbelievably cold will knock something that resembles sense into you, and I knew then that there was no way I was getting to Cali in five days on foot.
With a deep sigh and a twitch in my stomach, from hunger or the thought of giving head, I’m not sure, I waved my arm and walked backwards a bit, hoping to God I didn’t fall on my ass, and was caught between being relieved and being petrified when it slowed down.
